Further to the attached Green Paper (3.14 London 2012 Olympic Games – Club Camping Activity), the Club is now looking to recruit voluntary staff to assist in the operation of Olympic campsites during the summer of 2012.
Please find enclosed the job description for any volunteers who may be interested in working. Successful applicants would be required to work a block of 4 consecutive days on and 4 days off, with a basic expectation of 8 hours work a day (full details on job description).
As this role will be engaging with Members and Non Members, we are looking for volunteers with camping experience, good communication and customer service skills, the ability to work well in a team and most importantly, the Friendly Club spirit. Travel costs to the site, a pitch for the duration of your working agreement and a £20.00 living allowance per working day will all be provided by the Club.
I would be grateful if you could pass this information on to your Club Unit as we are especially keen to hear from any Club units who would like to get a group of volunteers together.
